My Musical Journey.................
The journey began in my early twenties, playing bass guitar in cover bands. Eventually working into writing and playing originals. After a while, it became a passion. I would always record every live rehearsal and listen back to the tapes looking for anything that could use improvement. The fine young man that played drums in the last band I was in, became my best friend. We had sort of a musical bond always talking about music and bands. He had a guitar part he came up with, and I had some lyrics that I had just written about single women looking for Mr. Right so we combined them and wrote our first original song called Mr. Right. We wrote several songs together with the band after that, until one day he found out he had cancer in one of his legs. He ended up losing his leg (but kept playing the drums!) Sadly though, he lost his battle with cancer. I felt an obligation to carry on what we had started years ago.
