Popular, Rising rapper from Metro Atlanta, J Road burst onto the scene mid 2006 with the release the Flatline Unit's mixtape hosted by DJ Southanbred. With only passion and a few booking numbers to call, J Road began learning how to communicate with industry-insiders while continuing to sharpen his skills on the mic. Noticing a growing buzz, Road began reaching out past the streets and shockingly received support from rappers including BME artists and the original members of Lil Wayne's Young Money camp. Though the music proved promising, tragedy struck in the form of two arrests for J Road and about 5 deaths within the span of 3 years; including the murder of his closest friend Quincy "Que" Isbell. Not to mention the incarceration of many of his affiliates. Today he stands, a more successful version of the kid we remember, and owner of the infamous 24 Hr. TRAPLINE . At the top of 2009 he launched his website FADEAWAYJAY.COM simultaneously with the release of his FadeAway Jay series.Stay tuned for nothing short of greatness!
