Inspired with a word by God to bring forth change in this generation, R.I.C: Righteous in Christ, has been bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the powerful ministry of Gospel Rap; bringing the anointed ministry of lyrical word inspired by the revelation and Word of God.
R.I.C: Righteous in Christ, Richard Hogg was raised in Bronx, New York growing up in the Church of God of Prophecy. At the age of 9, Richard accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a Regional Youth Camp in 1996. The Lord brought forth his gift of ministry and music through the Children Ministries at his church. In the summer of 2002, Richard connected with Glen Jenkins aka t.i.m.J (till I meet Jesus), working closely with the Shiloh Music Ministries label. In the ministry of music, God gave Richard the name of R.I.C (Righteous in Christ) aka The Lyrical Minister to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the youth of his generation. God placed the passion of music in R.I.C to rise and minister to his generation. In a vision, the Lord showed the unity of his generation in Christ Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
R.I.C and t.i.m.J began to minister to at many concerts, street-fairs and church-related functions. They have traveled to minister:
• On a mission trip in Bermuda
• The Church of God of Prophecy Convention in Canada
• The 2006 National Youth Conference in Tennessee
• Venues throughout the Tri-state New York area
• Finalists in the Gospel Rap category in the McDonald
