I am a wife, Mom, and Nana who has been a scientist most of my professional career, but writing has always been a great love of mine....... most recently..... poem/songs. I call them this, because I don't really know what they should be called. My poem/songs are my thoughts and my prayers and my hopes and my fears, and my musings on my own condition. As a scientist, I have a history of faltering faith. I want the absolutes, and yet I know that God expects us to simply have faith. I believe my thoughts that I feel compelled to write, are a result of my inner struggle on what do I really believe? My hope would be that writing them would help to solidify my thoughts into a more unshakeable faith. I don't know what God has in mind for me, but I am certain I could do more for others and for Him. Though I hold fast to the promises of eternity, I also want to make the most of the life God has given me.
Song writing is a hobby and a blessing to me. I post at this place to allow family, friends and a couple of online songwriting groups to hear my songs and critique them. I welcome comments and advice.
