Born in Los Angeles, California and then moved to Northtown, Las Vegas when he was around one year old. Surviving the first 6 years of his life on 21st Street, he was always into his schoolwork. 2-Tech did not play around much outside because of the neighborhood he was growing up in.
2-Tech first picked up a pencil and started rhyming when he was only 10. He was rapping with his partner DJ “Cooley Fresh.” Back then, he was referred to as “Lil Dawgie D” and he always wanted to become famous in the music industry. Writing kiddy rhymes was not doing 2-Tech the best of anything. In the 6th grade, attending Silverstri Junior High School, he continued his dream of becoming a rapper with Cooley by his side. As his 6th grade year went on, he stopped rhyming and concentrated more on drawing, school, and other activities.
As years went on, 2-Tech took his final shot at becoming a rapper when he was 14. A couple of his favorite rappers, such as, Nas, Tupac Shakur, and DMX, inspired 2-Tech to start rapping. He was gave the name 2-Tech from a couple of his friends. They claimed that he was always taking things to the extreme and getting too technical with conversations.
