Clone is an independant producer known in the underground circuit of Atlanta. He began producing in 2002 and now represents Test Tube Beats. His company created in 2004 has focused on hip hop and some R& B. Ranging in various styles of mixing old school and new mainstream hip hop. You can now hear clone's production on Myspace and at the "Producer's Swap Meet" at the world famous Cafe Apache in midtown Atlanta the last Thursday of every month. You can also hear his production from underground artist appearing on Hot 107.9 FM "Battlegrounds" Beginning his independent production life at the age of 16; Clone first started out rapping and freestyling in his hometown of Ft. Valley, GA in local talent shows. The transition from rapper to producer came into effect when his passion for production became more important than rapping. His ear for layers and quality of sound has now confirmed his spot in the production world of independent music. Clone is best known for his hard hitting drum patterns and samples from old school legends. Being inspired by the production sounds of DJ Premier, Rick Rubin, Pete Rock, J Dilla, Dr. Dre, Just Blaze and Jermaine Dupri has helped molded his sound into becoming one of the industry's most anticipated indie producers. Clone's studio tool box consist of the MPC 2000, Korg Triton, Pro Tools M Box and other well known keyboards and instruments.
