The streets are poppin and so is this solo artist,"Collegepark TRUTH". He is the TRUTH literally, and once he has hold of the mic, it's over. His bangin, producing, composing and lyrical skills demonstrates his musical diversity,which gives him more longevity than other artist in the game.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Truth started out at an early age, admiring and studing the writing, producing and singing talents of his mother,Vickie McKisic, who is featured as a background vocalist on Aretha Franklin's "A Rose Is Still A Rose" album and Cece Winan's "Everlasting Love" album just to name a few . It was his mother's dedication and persistance that inspired him to do the same.
In 1995, Truth teamed up with some of his friends and formed a group called "The Untouchablez". Together they wrote, recorded and performed in Atlanta, Georgia and neighboring cities, building a very strong following and in 1997 when they released their debut ablum, (produced, arranged and composed by TRUTH) they sold over seven thousand copies and reciecved a lot of radio airplay. This achievement reached the ears of hitman Sammy Sam(Big Oomp), Pretty Ken(attic Crew), Too Short, and UGK culminating in recording projects. In 2005,he hooked up with his cousin, Boom Boom Belinda, of B Three Records, and begin touring all the club scenes once again. To all who've heard his haunting voice and captivating lyrics, it is obvious that Truth has a higher destiny.
