My name is AkA. (Alternating Kurrent/Korriente Alterna) The name comes from my ability to switch up styles and languages. (alternating current goes from positive to nuetral then to negative)
I'm affilitated with the crews "Lyracist Battalion", "ParaNormal Raptivity", and "DVS" as well as Triple O entertainment. (On Our Own)
As far as the music goes I love to make it and I have an open mind when it comes to genres and peoples creativity. I've seen alot of people who think they're to good to work with other artist or they have an ignorant view to what others are trying to do.
I've turned down 3 major label deals (for personal reasons) but I feel that maybe I just wasn't developed as an artist. I try to get better and more creative as I progress and hope it shows. I've performed mostly in Rhode Island and Mass but Ive also been to South Carolina, New Hampshire, New York and Maryland.
I've had my freestyle on MTV 2 (Sucker Free),. I've also been on GrindTime. I've opened up for for other artist (Kardinal Offishall, RedMan, De La Ghetto etc...) I've also done alot of Ghost writing for other artist. (Commercial and UnderGround)
At this point I'm trying to get my name out there and the goal is to reach a status where i can help push other local talent that I work with. I also do designs if anyone out there needs work done. I know funding can be an issue so I work with people who don't have it but need the help.
