With a swag and flow of his own, FIRE aka F.Dot, from California is the Newest and Next upcoming Rap Artist. Born September 23, 1982, in Los Angeles, CA, was Rodney K. Winkler. Raised by his mother Angela in Hawthorne, CA. Although there was negativity around him like, living without his father in his life, gangs, and violence. Rodney quickly discovered his passion for music. At the young age of 5, inspired by the likes of LL Cool J, Rodney began rapping. Once he got started there was no stopping him. Growing up Rodney had exposure to many different types and styles of music having lived in Hawthorne, CA Compton, CA and even Little Rock, Arkansas. He now resides in Inland Empire, CA. When asked who his music can be compared to, Rodney aka FIRE, will quickly say “My Music compares to know one…It sounds like Me….But I always pay homage to those who have paved the way for me.” All through school FIRE could be found walking the halls and on the bus spitting his rhymes. As time when on FIRE’s love for music grew stronger and stronger, his talent got better and better. After graduating high school FIRE went on to take music courses at Riverside Community College in California. In 2001, Rodney founded his own entertainment business, One6 Entertainment/Money Talks Family aka M.T.F. He is also in partnership with his cousin Kalico Yitty the CEO of A.Dot West.
