At the age of 15 Russ first picked up the guitar. Enjoying playing music,Russ was in and out of many bands. at the age of 18 he enrolled in singing lessons. After a year of singing ,Russ started up his own band A Chase Worthwhile.This was a pop punk band as Russ as the front man.They recorded two CD's before calling it quits.Russ than Joined up with long time friends Red Chester as a second guitarist.Not singing in Red Chester was ok with Russ, he could than perform more with the guitar this way, but still wanting to get his feelings out in his songs and still have the joy of writing his own music, he per sured this as a side from Red Chester.In late July of 2004 Red Chester had came to a end.Now looking for work Russ decided to start a whole new band.Thats when Saturday Matinee ,came to be.A pop punk band based out of Milford,CT.Russ still enjoys playing shows with the acoustic
