MIC MESS TO PERFORM ON B.E.T A NATIONALLY TELEVISED PROGRAM 106 & Park Freestyle Fridays the winner will receive a record deal with Koch Records Mic Mess traveled to New York September 21st to audition for Freestyle Friday on 106 & Park. It is a huge hip hop network that has been used in the past to serve as a spring board for up and coming artists. After partying in New York City until 6 o’clock in the morning the previous Thursday, he had to get up and be at auditions by 10 a.m. After oversleeping, and almost missing the audition, Mic made his way to the B.E.T studios in Manhattan, where he had to wait in line for 8 hours with no sleep, food, or anything. The wait ended, and it was time to audition in front of a panel of people, and B.E.T staff. He was the first person chosen to battle, and was asked to battle the person standing next to him. The format of the battle is 2 rounds and .45 seconds per round. Mic destroyed his opponent, and was later asked to come back to the stage to battle a second guy. Two weeks later Mic received a phone call from B.E.T congratulating him, and inviting him to participate in the new season of Freestyle Fridays, where the winner will receive a recording contract with Koch Records. Mic will be making his appearance on the show in early November, and is very excited about this opportunity to display his talent, and passion to the world. B.E.T is a very large network, and will give him maximum exposure to pursue his career at a higher level. .”I have worked very hard over the last 10 years, and have sacrificed a lot of things.
