In 1998, he and his mother, sister and two brothers moved to Dallas, TX, where he found out he had his talent.
In 2003, Yung Starr discovered his talent even more and got better than others when he got in junior high and started battling friends then he started writing full songs more than he freestyled. Dallas introduced him to the distinct sound of Texas rap. When he found out one of his friends brother was a signed artist and had a studio set up for him, he started recording his songs and thats when he knew his career was ahead of him.
His high school year he began meeting new artists in school. he met k-otik who was just beginning his career but he always made beats so they got together and have been workin together on records ever since they met.

With Starr's unique flows and crazy lyrics, there isn’t another young artist his age that can touch him out here because all the other teenager out there feels what he's sayin and its the truft of everything that comes out of his mouth onto a record.
