A versatile and experienced musician, Scott has performed over much of the east coast of Australia in many guises. From backyard weddings to crowds of thousands at outdoor events and festivals, he has played fingerstyle guitar, in jazz combos, rock groups, tribute shows and even for an Elvis impersonator! Does anything get better than standing behind a man in a jump suit and cape? A few notable highlights include performing at Sydney’s famous jazz club ‘The Basement’ on their ‘Greats of Australian Guitar Night’, performing at the Brisbane Exhibition Centre to 7000 people in the band opening for James Morrison, and various festivals and concerts to large crowds around the east coast. Noteworthy musicians or groups Scott has opened for or performed alongside of include James Muller, George Golla, Bruce Matiske and the Idea of North. And over a 1000 pub and club gigs can be added to those, and there have been some very special moments amongst that, in every sense! From seeing a guy lose his false teeth whilst kissing a woman on the dance floor to all-in brawls, and a few drunken men enhance a performance of ‘You Can Leave Your Hat On’ with some intriguing choreography, he has witnessed most aspects of the music industry.
