Looking for band members- Louisville/Southern Indiana Greetings, People of Earth- am looking for musicians to build a group. Specifically: Lead Guitarist- Self confident, free of ego, drug/alcohol issues…musical influences a diverse blend of progressive rock/nu-jazz/metal, such as Holdsworth, Metheny, Satriani, Mayer, Malmsteen, Van Halen, Hendrix, Skunk Baxter, Clapton… An ability to perform strong backing lead vocals would be a plus. Must have a strong sense of pitch, harmony, and dynamics. Bass player- Musical influences should range from Dream Theater, Rush, Doug Wimbish, and Billy Sheehan to Mark Egan, Stu Hamm, and Dave LaRue. Vocals, 5 string and fretless ability a plus; must be concerned with musicality and tone. Drummer/Percussionist- Influences should range from John Bonham, Neil Peart, and Stewart Copeland to Alan White, Bill Bruford, and Phil Erhart. Vocals a plus; must be concerned with musicality, have a strong sense of meter, rhythm, and tone. Multi-instrumentalist- A supporting musician who can play both rhythm and acoustic guitars, and play some keyboards and other instruments as needed...strong backing, vocals, percussion, sense of pitch, harmony, and dynamics a plus...concerned with musicality and tone. ALL CANDIDATES should possess QUALITY AND RELIABLE GEAR, as well as a developed ear, character, and sense of humility. The musical style and identity is an amalgamation of New Progressive Rock, Metal-Jazz Fusion, Experimental, with a bit of Neo-Celtic for good measure.
