Jersey based singer/songwriter, Stacie Rose, has been getting major praise for her sophomore release "Shadow & Splendor." (Enchanted Records) Her hit song "Here's Looking at You" was selected to promote Escada's new fragrance 'SUNSET HEAT.' Another Rose song, "BACK TO LIFE" aired during the April 2nd episode of the hot new show THE RICHES on FX starring Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard. Rose co-wrote the track “LOVE THAT I FEELING” which will be released summer 07’ on the highly anticipated record by Hawk (Warner Bros. UK). With Pod casters clamoring and features in issues of Performing Songwriter, CURVE and SKOPE magazine, Stacie performs in NYC, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Boston. Stacie had 4 songs featured on the MTV shows, Sorority Life & Fraternity Life and AMC aired the song "Okay" to promote their Primetime Movie spot last November. She has been featured on XM radio’s THE LOFT & WNTI’s Sessions at Centenary. The Sentimentalist Magazine says, "SHADOW and SPLENDOR" mixes feminine gentility with gutsy honesty & sweet hooks... There are some very cool things happening with Songstress STACIE ROSE, who is currently in the studio finishing her third record: due for release early 2008. The new record is chock full of signature Stacie Rose hooks, and features a very poignant cast of musicians... Gerry Leonard plays on 6 songs, Leonard is David Bowie's music director and is currently touring with Rufus Wainwright. Jack Petruzelli, also touring with Wainwright, plays guitars/keyboards on the record. Shawn Pelton drums on 2 songs. Shawn Mullins (LULLABY-Vanguard Records) sings on one song. Steve Conte of the New York Dolls graces on 4 tracks. and Lucy Woodward (DUMB GIRLS-Atlantic Records) sings on 4 songs. Warner Brothers UK Artist, HAWK is on one song. Knox Chandler does some guitar work and James Maestro lends his strings to 3 songs. He has recently toured with Ian Hunter and is touring currently with Patti Smith. David Patterson plays on the whole record. He has previously toured with Shawn Mullins and the Indigo Girls. Jeff Allen, one of the producers, has played bass for Avril Lavigne and Duncan Sheik and is currently doing some shows with Roseanne Cash and Marc Cohn.
