I've been playing for 38 years. I studied Jazz at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. After graduating in 1989 I spent the next eight years performing as a freelance saxophonist throughout Atlantic Canada. I moved to Toronto in 1997 and have performed with the Jazz Mechanics, NOJO, Dunai, The Orange Devils, Frieda Payne, Animal House (Q107 house band), Rosemary Clooney, Frankie Valli, Leslie Gore, Georgette Fry, Rick Fines, The Drifters, Melba Moore, and Virgil Scott. I have recorded with Theresa Malenfant, Jay Douglas, Janet Kidd, and Kids at Heart, as well as performing in Television and radio. In July, 2012, I relocated to Ajax to have closer proximity to Toronto. I am currently active with numerous ensembles in the GTA. In 2020, I realeased my first CD of original compositions, "Gratitude" featuring some of Canada's finest musicians.
