I grew up along the Mississippi river in a little town called Wolf Lake located in rural Southern Illinois. After serving a brief stint in the military and I returned home to attend college and study music. It was there I met my wife Michelle.
In 2000 we moved to Texas so I could finish my studies in music. Along with songwriting and leading worship at my church I'm also a lecturing professor at the University of Texas Arlington.
Michelle and I have two boys, Dylan and Austin, and we love to fish! When I'm not writing music and the weather's right we're probably on the lake!
Currently I serve as worship leader for my church and I'm pursuing my career to be a songwriter.
