Tanya Witt began entertaining at the age of three. She was accepted into the esteemed Music Business program at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. While attending college she had the opportunity to record with many talented Nashville songwriters.
In December of 2002, Tanya won a spot in a choir that backed up Ray Charles in one of his final concerts, "The Gospel According To Ray Charles". The show was released on
pay-per-view, CD, and DVD in December of 2003.
Tanya works as a demo and jingle singer/voice over artist in the Midwest market. She is represented nationally by Baker and Rowley Talent of Chicago, Lori Lins Ltd. of Milwaukee, and several smaller agencies. She contracts independently as well.
Tanya has performed the National Anthem for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, Luxemburg Speedway, WNCY Radio, WNFL Radio, Wisconsin Rumble, UWGB Basketball teams, Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Gamblers, and the Green Bay
Blizzard.
Demo work is a prevalent part of Tanya's career. She is also lead singer of 3 stylistically different bands: Straight Up (variety), Past Due (acoustic) and Twisted Angels (cabaret).
