Born and raised in the Houston, Tx area, "Big Dook" has had a share of what is known as "the soul of the Hip Hop area". "Houston had such a diverse music scene, it wasn't possible to not absorb something and develop it into something deeper; I felt like I wanted to carry the heart of the legends, our Fat Pats and our Lil Keke's throughout the generations to come." And surely the infleunces bestowed upon him has transpired into his music to date. "I continued, even when the odds were against me and peers didn't see the potential as I did." "Big Dook" continued to develop his sound, against all who didn't have the same confidence of success as he has. With that, "Big Dook" developed H-Town Sound Inc., his first venture into the independent music world, and with that he is determined to what he referres to as "bring back" the Houston sound in his original form similar to the successes that the previous benefactors of the southern hip hop boom has brought to the mainstream. "I can't forget about giving love to the future of the game; Slim Thug and SwishaHouse affiliates past and present, all the greats and legends of the city, the SUC and all affiliates." Hoping to bring the street level of hip-hop to the commercial mainstream, H-Town Sound Inc. brings you "The Saaaauth Vol. 1" (pronounced "saaaaa-th"), a collection of original, self-produced tracks of legendary and "up and coming" artist that represent the flavor of the city of Houston, as well as the south.
