Vicente Luis aka Vincent Lewis (born August 24th, 1986), better known by his stage name Vinnie LaRocksta (formerly YourFriendUneasy), is an American entertainer, rapper, singer, record producer and actor. He is best known as an MC in the East Coast hip hop scene. His music career began in 2000 while he was attending Lundy Academy In Detroit MI. Lewis claims he wrote his first song in 1998 after the death of his best friend. He continued writing and began producing in 2004 using only a cassette recorder, turntable, and a low end drum machine, before upgrading to full studio capabilities in 2006. His 2008 debut album 'Last Resort' (credited under YourFriendUneasy) peaked at # 22 on the Independent music charts, and received 5 stars by United Hip Hop Magazine. He was featured in Hip Hop Weekly as 'Most promising freshman" just above Ace Hood, Mickey Factz, Asher Roth, and Wale. In addition to music, Vinnie LaRocksta has starred in motion pictures and hosted several television shows. He also runs a clothing company and several record labels. He has run into many legal troubles, some of which caused him to have to cancel many performances and features. 3 of his most serious charges were later reversed after a long legal battle, allowing him more freedom to record and perform.
