Detroit, CYDI is a group based out of, well, Detroit that is trying to bring fun back into rapping without forcing dances down the throats of listeners. Detroit, CYDI (which is pronounced "city") means "Detroit, Can You Dig It?!" and "Can You Dig It?!: The 3Ps" is the tentative title for the CD. It's called that because the CD will be a combination of three EPs- Detroit, CYDI as a group, and the two rapping members as soloists.
Detroit, CYDI is made up of three members from a Detroit supergroup called The Illiance. They are Rufio Jones, Sean "Scantron" Uppercut, and rapper/producer Doc Illingsworth. But with a name like Detroit, CYDI, Detroit's best and brightest rappers will be featured on the CD. With appearences from Scoop SoS, Stryfe da Fantam, and more.
