DJ from Rennes, now in Paris, I've been making music for about 10 years now, but the first "real" productions were made 5 years ago, under the name of "Duplex" with a friend of mine. I met electronic music in late 80's, with the "French kiss" by Lil' louis, "Rock to the beat", and also artists like Vangelis, Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre. I started making house tracks for the dancefloor, also a remix from Daft Punk's Aerodynamic track. I didn't want to lock in dancefloor music, so I kept on making my musical researches, and composed "ReAlive", a deeper, softer and more melancolic house track. In 2002, I discovered the Nu Skool Break wave, coming from the UK, with artists like Hybrid, Adam Freeland, Plump Djs, and labels such as Finger Lickin, Distinctive Records & Marine Parade. For my first breakbeat track, I remixed Hybrid's "Blackout" track in 2004, which had a very warm welcome in the nu skool break community, especially in the UK forums. Having various origins, this style enables to include and mix many influences. So, in 2005 I released a second track, which sounds totally different from the previous one, more jazzy-funky : Guns n' Bass. I'm trying to do away with musical borders. Energizer, my latest track, is a mix between House / Electro and Nu Skool Break, especially with the rhythm, alternating break beat and 4-to-the-floor. "A track must give people emotions, pictures, feelings. A track must have its own soul" That's my leitmotiv ! =¬_¬=
