Born in Toronto, Ontario, the youngest of 5 children I grew up on a small farm in central, Ontario, listening to dad play country music on his "flat top" and his pedal steel. Although my musical roots go back to childhood, I was a "late bloomer" & only began playing guitar in 1980. Separated in '82 & divorced from my 2nd husband by '85 I wrote my first country song a year later. I began performing in '88 taking chances at "open mic" nights in local bars. In 1992 I graduated to larger venues playing the Niagara Regional Exhibition which I headlined for 6 years & that lead to performances at Canada Day events and Fairs throughout Niagara Region. In 1994 I was approached by the Fonthill Kinsmen to help get a sixty's style Coffee House off the ground. A venue that gained me distinction and a small following in the region. As a result I was elected as Secretary/Treasurer for the Kinsmen Coffee House. Subsequently I stepped down, in 1996 when time became a problem after creating Three IV Arizona Publishing to launch a monthly music publication "The Coffee House News" devoted to interviews with local musicians & promoting the Coffee House & also served to publish my own music. Thru the years I was a regular at the Niagara Opry in the Falls & the Sarnia Lambton Musician Club. I am now located back in the Niagara Region but on the US side, looking for local venues and is a member of BMI. All songs are © 1988-2007 © 2007
