Band History: Artist Info : Original music in Jazz-Fresh by Alexis VAN EECKHOUT ( AVanE ) : Saxophonist-Composer, ( Tenor SAX, Keyboards, Synth, Piano, Bass, Audio sampling, Programming ) . Genres played: Jazz-Fresh, Jazz-progressive, Acid-jazz, Jazz fusion, Latin Jazz, Smooth jazz, Jazz-rock, Trance-jazz, Jazz-dance, Film music, Classical, New-age, Electronic ambient, ... PS: Concerning the Classical pieces: At 14 years old, I played clarinet for some classical compositions of my father who was a professional classical composer and orchestra chief. Then after clarinet at 17, i began to play Tenor sax for for doing some Jazz . 40 years later , i had the desire to try to play some well known classical pieces of music with Tenor sax . What i did but with my usual sound of sax like the sound that i have when i play Jazz or some ambient pieces of music. This is the originality of this project : The sound of the sax on those classical pieces of music is NOT a classical sound of sax. I have already done 6 pieces of music "PRELUDE in E minor" of Frederic CHOPIN, "WALTZ Opus 69 Nr 1" of CHOPIN, "ADAGIO" of Tomaso ALBINONI, "PRELUDE"of Johann-Sebastian BACH, "ADAGIO" of Johann Sebastian BACH and "CONSOLATIONS" of Franz LISZT . Artist History : Alexis VAN EECKHOUT, a self-made musician and a student of the American Saxophonist J.R. MONTROSE, comes back with what is called a "JAZZ-FRESH" (chill-out) style. His musical experience started at a very early age in his family. His first instrument of predilection whas the Clarinet. He played some Classical pieces o f music with his father who was a professional Classical Composer, Organist, and Orchestra's Chief., Later, he played Tenor, Alto and Soprano saxophones with several Belgian bands . Since 1997, he has focused on blending his musical experiences and influences in order to create his own style. Working on his musical phrasing, melody, harmonisation and rythm as well as on a global musical ambiance for each piece. These pieces have been composed, interpreted ( Tenor-sax, Keyboards, Piano, Bass ), programmed ( Keyboards, Synth, Bass, Drums, Percussions) and recorded by Alexis VAN EECKHOUT himself in his Home-Studio . Truly, a music well suited for dream and evasion... BUY my tunes (Jazz-Fresh, Soundtrack, Classical, ... ) at SONGPLANET, click on their banner here below !

Hi, My name is Kenneth John Parsons...aka XAMBIENCE. Thanks for dropping by to hear my compositions. I am a UK-based audio creator/composer of some 10 years experience and have formed my own little Indie record label which is called Inexplicata Music. I concentrate mainly on the genres of soundtrack, drone, electronic and dark ambient. Aside from being here on MixPosure, my work has also been showcased on Zen Radio and Deep Intense. com To those unacustomed to my kind of "exotic audio", some might say that it's a strange type of sound, being as it so often is, slightly atonal and laced with many influences such as ambient, electronic, jazz-fusion, "kraut-rock" and perhaps some classical leanings too. In varying degrees, the material that I produce can be Uplifting, Spiritual, Haunting, Industrial, Gothic, Surreal, Warped, or a mixture of these descriptions, feelings and sensations. In a nutshell, Inexplicata Music is drawn from life, the ether and my imagination. Equipment used, computers, studio software, various bits of electronic gadgetry, keyboards, human voice, (mainly that of my partner Hilary), sound mixer and anthything else to hand that I can bang, vibrate, twist, warp and mangle to make a noise with as when it suits. Enquiries about my music, (availability, pricing, special film score commissions etc), are usually made to me via e-mail. I have a small quantity of earlier Inexplicata albums available at just £6 each plus £1 post and packing (UK)...£2 overseas. They are: # Into The Bermuda Triangle. # Rennes-le-Chateau - Geometric Riddle. # Architectural Harmonics . # The Hyades Electro Suite . # Electroalchemy . All the best Ken Genre: Experimental, Soundtrack Country/US State: England City or area: Farnborough
ANUBIS SPIRE-

Imagine... Imagine falling asleep in a golden age. Not an age of majestic pyramids and incredible empires but rather an age where individuality and self expression was king. An age when MUSIC had the power to transform and transfix. When veritable demi-gods and Lizard-kings strode the world stage and forever changed the planet with nothing more than poetry, a smouldering Stratocaster or two and the sweet dream of a limitless future. Now imagine waking to find in it's place a world hopelessly diminished and shriveled. A world where the powers that be have fostered the negative, self absorbed and impotent notion that NOTHING matters and nothing lasts beyond your momentary attention span. A world of vapid attitude and hollow posturing, where the sheep think they're the leaders and the leaders take that carefully crafted illusion all the way to the bank. Where fashion dictates the ridiculing and complete disregard of the past. A world with collective selective amnesia, where the mere hint of that former glory brings terror to the puppetmasters and peer disrespect and condemnation. Now... imagine having a choice... to join the flock and cash in, playing the role of the piper even though you know the path leads only to the slaughterhouse door, OR... awaken, pick up where you left off and hope that there are still a few who can hear and understand. A few who have not been permanently deafened to the call of their own hearts and souls... Take them lightly at your own peril--- ANUBIS SPIRE is awake. >>>>>>>>Taken from BOOK 9-The church of the closed loop Band History: ANUBIS SPIRE was formed new years day 1998 after an chance jam session the night before. Made up of musical veterans who wanted to write and play music in the mid-seventies style of such bands as Led Zeppelin, Mahavishnu Orchestra, etc., the band set about melding it's various influences and adding a heavy dose of world and ethnic sounds and a 90's twist to the mix. The debut CD-OLD LIONS(in the world of snarling sheep) was recorded in a barn, on an antiquated 8 track almost entirely LIVE! They are currently recording their new CD-CHILDREN OF A FOREIGN FAITH for release

Very cool stuff! If you get the chance, check out our new material. Sure, you will have to invest 9 minutes and 42 seconds to get acquainted with the new tune *Salvolatile*, but hopefully you find it worthwhile...
