I'm a 56 yr old singer/songwriter originally from Florence SC. I'm presently living back in Nashville Tn. I originally came to Nashville on May 27th, 1987 in search of an Artist deal. I landed a Publisher's deal in 1991 with Polygram International Publishing where I got the opportunity to co-write with Tracy Lawrence, Melba Montgomery, Leona Williams and a whole lot of successful songwriters (too many to mention).I married a beautiful South Carolina farm girl named Lynda in 1994 (Country Artist Daryle Singletary was my best man) and we're still happily married. During my first 11yr stay in Nashville I won many local contests and came in 3rd(out of 30,000 entries) in the 2nd Annual Billboard Songwriters Contest. I've performed four times each at the world famous Ryman Auditorium & Grand Ole Opry House. I've had over a 100+ songs recorded by indie artist. I'm still waiting for the big one!!! I took a 6yr absence from Nashville in 1998 and moved to N.Ft. Myers, Florida where I still have a home and business. My lovely wife keeps our business running while I stay in Nashville writing and pitching my songs. I've been back in Nashville for about 5 yrs and I'm not about to give up just yet!!! I'm praying that one day my persistance will pay off!!! For those whom are chasing a dream......don't ever give up.....if it's meant to be....it'll be !!!

Terry...my former in-laws Larry and Sandy Jones from Bokelia, FL had told me about you. I truly love your writing. That song that Crossin' Dixon is doing "Loving In The Country" is amazing.
