The artist known as Science Born the Quiet Storm was raised between Michigan City, Indiana's Haborside Homes Housing projects and Davenport, Iowa. Throughout the early and adolescent years of his life he began to experiment with hip hop music and poetry as a means of exhausting his energetic and most times hyperactive personality. Science Born is a professional slam poet and intends to pursue a career in performance of said art later in his hip hop endeavors. When asked about artistic influences Mr. Born acknowledges mainly his underground midwest colleagues for his inspiration. Science has had the priveledge of working with a noteworthy number of emerging underground sensations. The list includes the likes of Muncie Indiana veterans:The Mystery School, The Dirty Regime, The Others, The Dodge City Mercenaries, Palefaced Piccaso And The incomparable Crosstown Slim and Michigan City, Indiana artists such as Groups, Lyrical Threat G.A.G. and the F.A.M.. Born is currently working on his long anticipated debut album entitled Chronicles of a Stillborn. He is at present moment an independent/unsigned artist but intends to pursue a major recording contract. Born is well known for his lyrical creativity and commanding use of his extensive vocabulary.
