Music is my life.
Music producer from the Bay Area, CA. I been making music for the past 15 years (Since I was 19). I was listening to almost every genre of music thanks to my parents. I remember when I was 15, my parents bought me a keyboard and I use to jam with my dad (who played the drums). I was interested listening to instrumentals growing up. My favorite kind of music was listening to 70's Jazz, R&B, and Funk. Songs back than use to be longer and focused mainly on the musicians. When I was older I became a huge fan of Timbaland back in 97' who inspired me to create my own music. I met my brother in law's friend KCA (Reggae producer from Oakland) and use to visit his studio. He took notice of how I wanted to make beats and let me borrow his Ensoniq keyboard. I hooked it up to my boombox where I would sample sounds from my cd's and save it on a floppy drive built in the keyboard. I got my name WATTZ from making beats thru my boombox speakers. Through the years I've used Tritons, Motifs, and MAudio Keyboards (I'm currently using Komplete Kontrol S49). The DAWS I've used were Protools, Cubase, Nuendo, and now Logic X.
