It's not a game...
Led by MC Lucky 1 Concious, Young Sonny, Mac Smith, Don Pedro & Isis Nyce, Seventh Science (Duble S) is an constantly evolving, next level hip-hop outfit determined to change the face of hip-hop culture.
Started in a basement off of 19th and Prescott (that's N.E.P. for those out-of-towners) by Lucky 1 and Illaj, the 7th Science Crew started with 5 members: Lucky 1, Illaj, Conciet aka Young Sonny, Immaculate aka Mac Smith, Paris, and Kai (the beatmaker).
Trials and tribulations play their part though, Illaj went his own way, as did Kai and Paris. Don Pedro added his razor-sharp style to the Crew and Isis Nyce came onboard later to give us that woman's touch.
Always keepin it real, Lucky 1 eventually fell prey to Measure 11, an Oregon law designed to lock up the less-than-priveleged for excessive amounts of time, and ended up serving a 6 year sentence just days before his 18th birthday... This severely crippled the Crew; Luck was the heart and soul of our unit, and his loss was obviously devestating.
But what does not kill you, only makes you stronger... With less than 2 years until Luck's release date, the 7th Science Crew is ready to re-establish their position as local pioneers. We can't stop, can't be stopped, and new music is on the way as you read this. The music cannot be denied, and with the Free Luck 1 Movement behind us, there is no doubt we will soon be ready for a national stage.
