The Amps (based out of Los Angeles, California) is a team of hip hop producers consisting of Andrew “Dreeze” Adams (born May 24, 1988) and Abraham “Verbal” Adams (born March 7, 1984). They have been officially producing since late 2003, early 2004 (depending on who you ask) but have been studying and working collaboratively and individually on music since their pre-teens. They are best known for producing “Who Shot Ya” (Track 4) off of Evil Empire and The Clipse present “We Got the Remix” and “Oww” (Track 2) on Joey Fingaz and Ray Cash present “Rec Reel Radio”. They have also produced remixes for artist such as Young Buck, TI, Game, Baby Cham, Chamillionaire, and Star Trak’s Fam Lay. They are currently working on tracks and remixes for Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Black Magic, Noreaga and Young Money/ Cash Money’s Currency the Hot Spitter.
