Guitarist Jerome Epps offers a variety of music on his new CD "Eclectic Fusion", playing everything from smooth jazz, smooth funk/r&b, and latin-jazz-fusion.
Jerome began to embrace music at a very young age. With his father being an accomplished jazz saxophonist, it wasn’t long before the musical gene would be passed on to his son. Jerome spent hours listening to his father practice to the likes of Miles, Coltrane, Bird, and the who’s who of jazz; while at the same time embracing the Latin Jazz sounds of Sergio Mendes and Antonio Carlos Jobim. Later Jerome would study artists like Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa, Jimmy Page, and Santana. Later he would turn his interests towards r&b, soul and funk, and progressive jazz-rock fusion artists like Chick Corea, Al Dimeola, John McLaughlin’s Mahavishnu Orchestra, Weather Report, and more.
Jerome studied Music Education at Howard University in Washington, D.C., and years later in California at San Jose State University, studying classical and jazz guitar. His new CD Eclectic Fusion blends jazz/funk/fusion together with a series of upbeat lively tracks. Enjoy.

I'm a jazz funk guitarist blending jazz, funk and latin mixed with contemporary dance beats. Check out my cd "Eclectic Fusion". All tracks instrumental. My influences are Santana, John Mclaughlin, Pat Metheny, George Benson, Terry Kath, Miles, Contrane and an endless list of artist.
