Lil Rocka gets her start in the heart of Motown ( Detroit City). Being the youngest of 7 children, and all siblings being very diversed in Music made Nichelle appreciate ALL kinds of music. She started writing songs & poetry at the tender age of about 6.
Nichelle began singing with Community Choirs all over the city of Detroit, which lead her into Theater. She was blessed to perform the theater productions for many years before making her venture into having a Girl's Group.
The girl singing group perform for charities clubs,& showcases all over the City. This journey continued for about 3-5 yrs before Nichelle decided to go SOLO.
Lil Rocka made the move to New Jersey to be closer to the Music capital of the World NYC in 2001 and remained a resident until 2010.She now resides in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Marietta GA.
Lil Rocka has been blessed to work with Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, CHER, Pink,Mario, Monica, Kelis, RES, Kool & The Gang, Taylor Dayne, Nona Hendryx, J.Geils Band, Alice Smith,MetroSonics and many more.
She is currently in Labor...... Birthing her Musical Child.......Rock Baby Born.
