Born in New Orleans on September 21, Xalent became exposed to music at a young age. He wanted to learn how to be an DJ, but he gave it up to become a producer and rapper. Making a small name for himself he recorded his first mixtape and founded the rap group called "The Franchise" which included some of X's friends and family. Experimenting with certain styles and songs he spits about a variety of topics from hustling on the corner, relationships, to economic situations. In Production he find his "signature sound" blending soul rock and 90's hip hop samples with "bouncy" drums. He worked behind the scene with a few big names in the industry gaining engineering credits to hits name from Lil Wayne to Future. He's here to not to be one of the power forces in the entertainment industry.
