John is an integral part of the Newcastle rave/club scene, playing live with Techno stalwarts Chris Liberator, Rowland the Bastard, Ant, Geezer, D.A.V.E the Drummer and Eat static and DJing along side hard dance pioneers k90, Paul Glazby, Anne Savage,Organ donors, Nick sentience and vinyl groover to name just a few of many. John has played for various party collectives and club nights; Trauma, Ourmass, kidstock Cubensis, Freaky Dancing, Cause and Effect and Detox. aswell as his own venture Cybernetics, which he has ran in Newcastle for the last 7 years. This has seen him perform at raves, festivals and clubs all over the UK. As well as his love for electronic music, John is also known and respected for his role in the disbanded alternative rock band ‘Herp Nurp’, which were together for 10 years. The band played up and down the country, and secured a record deal with Big Fat Records, as well as recording 2 studio albums at Impulse studios. John’s sound as a dance producer can be best described as progressive Techno. Energetic, acidic, melodic at times but allways built for the dance floor!! John has released music on Belgium's number one dance label; 4-STROKE PRODUKTIONS, his own Techno label; D.E.S (Dancefloor emergency services), AKKAMUZIK (italy), America's NINE73 and also on the legendary BONZIA records. John is currently working on material for BULLETDODGE records due out early 2009 and keeping busy with regular releases on D.E.S and 4-stroke.
