Truth be told…The difference between real and fake can be hard to distinguish. So what is real? I don’t know what Webster’s definition is but in the rap game, a person who is real can talk the talk and walk the walk. In other words, they speak the truth! Anyone can label themselves as being real, yet, hide behind false pretenses. In the past, rappers spoke the truth, they were the voice of the people, and reality was real. Now, rappers claim to be “real” but disguise themselves behind superficial things that come along with fame. In a world full of deception and misconceived messages as to what is real and what is fraudulent, only one voice can be heard. And let the truth be told, that voice is Mz. Trill
