I got into making beats back in 2003 in Memphis Job Corp. First beat making software was Fruity Loops. Been using it ever since, but dont get it twisted, with the sounds I have you couldnt tell if it was FL or not. I want to get a better program, maybe Reason, mix in with Korg Triton or Phamtom keyboard. Something like that. I got further into to it and purchased some basic studio gear from the only great store I know, 'Guitar Center'. I make hard hittin tracks from R&B to Rap with HipHop in between. But i really love R&B. Thats what i speacilize in. I got four artists that are together, Steve Mac, Dj Domino, 40 Cal, and J-Bizzel in a group called Young Goones In Trainin. Me, well, im an R&B singer but i do it for fun. But I rather make beats in lay down tracks, but thats enough bout me.
