Queen Reality born Erica C. McDowell on June 13 1983 is a rare breed in this music industry. At the early age of 13 Reality was writing poetry and creating beats. Influnced by old school records her partents use to play and the constent urge to gain knowledge, Reality began to takeher talents to another level by partnering up with her cusion Keenan Coleman a.k.a. Primo Starr. Together they formed the group B.R.E.E.D. She later signed a distrubution deal with a local indepent muisc label called Ground up Records. For 10yrs Reality and her partner have change the sound and percepiton of HIPHOP. She has opened up for major HIPHOP artist such as Jewels Santa, Rasheeda, Young Bloods and Lil Jhon. Reality also has interviewed Neo, DjKalid, Spliff Star, B.E.T.'s 106 and Park Roxy and any more during the B.E.T. 2005 Spring Break Show.
Needless to say a turn of events has lead Reality on her journey as a solo artist. Not only does she produce music and write lyrics she is currently building her own marketing and promotions company by using her B.A. in Business Marketing. In an indursty where female artist are over looked and misjuded surly she is the light at the end of the tunnel. Following the footsteps of strong black women such as Queen Latifah, Mc Lyte, Da Brat and Lauren Hill Reality has equipped herself for the art in its purest form and the business at its lowest. With her mellow yet rebel flow she will defenitly take the universe by storm.
