Mel Banks A.K.A Young Haz or Tha Talk Of Da Town Although there has been much debate on the subject of who is or who isn't the Hardest Youngin Out, Mel Banks isnt worried about all the fuss as to who really lays claim to the title. As a veteran rapper, budding entrepreneur, and young Highschool student at Riverside Highschool in Buffalo N.Y, Mel's experience in the rap game, coupled with his amazing growth as an individual has placed him in a position only a handful of people in this industry reach. "I've been in this game for 4 years now, so I'm not concerned with having to prove myself," Mel says. "I don't have to prove anything, because my skills as a rapper can be heard in my rhymes." Indeed, with the release of his 1st solo album Im So 4Real, its obvious Melvin Banks AKA "LiL Mel" is a top-notch rapper whose lyrics and artistic vision tower over the competition. Banks, 18, was born and raised in Buffalo N.Y 1270 Fillmore Ave in a neighborhood called Mid Town. As a child, the aspiring rapper listened to and idolized early Death Row artists like 2 Pac and Snoop Dogg, who he cites as some of his early influences. A few years later, Banks Got In Contect With Bassclef Records CEOs Chubby" Daniels and President Mike Smith who would take him under their wings and help mold him into a prolific and profound artist.
