I started when I was twelve. I created an album called Serendipity Music By Amos. The whole album was done with only a 286. We had an automenu (before the days of Windows XXxx, space invaders was on it and so was Commandeer Keen and Wolfenstein) I always teach myself everything and cannot read music. I was brought to an academy where a music instructor ran a series of tests and concluded that I had perfect pitch(which is the equivalent of 1 to 10,000 or 1 to a million.I can't remember which because it was forever and ago) That was then and this is now. But just know that for most songs I will sing at least 4 tracks to it and delete certain sections of each track to have melodic integration. I have had twelve vocal tracks recorded to any given song and take the best segments from all. I combine and clean and tweak. I could perform anytime on stage because I sing each vocal track all the way through. Some songs are 1 take. Spontaneous lyrics created as I go. Only cleaned and tweaked. I now have over 90 songs created! My vocals can range from sounding like Marilyn Manson, to Cypress Hill, to electronic Cher-sounding vocals. Also my own. My hum when mastered is an instrument in itself. I created special effects on a lot of vocals using my vocals. I have collaborated with more then 15 different artists across the globe. Maketunes.com is my home because we are real. The community is a positive one and that is needed for ispirational motivation and musical growth.
