You probably wouldn't see him coming. Upcoming producer, Jason "Jaywan" Zeglis, is already changing the game from indie to major. Producing tracks for artists such as Paul Wall, Plies, Flo-Rida, Lil Keke, Juelz Santana, Slick Pulla, Bump J, Boot Camp Click, Sqad Up, Spot, Topic, and Snyp Life amongst others, the future is bright. "I always listened to the beat first rather than the lyrics when I was growing up. I knew I wanted to be the guy who made the music instead of the guy rapping'" says Jay. Listening to everything from disco, soul, rock, pop and eventually delving into hip hop and r&b in 1990, its hard to believe he's only been producing for 7 years. Music runs in Jay's blood, as his grandmother was a famous opera and folk singer up until the 1990s when she retired.Some of the upcoming projects he's working on is Plies, Rick Ross, Bumpy J, Red Cafe, Sha Stimuli, MTV, Fox Television, ESPN, VH1, and others. What's his plans for the future? "I would like to keep working with good, established artists and to secure distribitution in the near future."said Jay. He also mentioned that he's currently in negotiations to landing a production deal with a major to develop his own artists and to get more into Film/TV and Gaming.
