Damon “Dae Dai” Jones
A native of Denver, Colorado Damon “Dae Dai” Jones was bitten by the performance bug at a very young age. Damon’s life would change dramatically after being accepted to tour overseas as a cast member of ‘Up With People’. It was this experience that confirmed for Damon the necessity for musical expression in his life. Since then he has opened for artists like MC Lyte, Case, Foxy Brown, 112, JAY Z, Goapele, Floetry, The Roots and more.
While acting as lead singer for Future Jazz Project, Damon established his presence in Denver as an R&B force to be reckoned with. Under Damon’s vocal leadership, Future Jazz Project was voted Colorado’s best Jazz & Soul band at the Westword Music Showcase for 2004 and 2005.
Most recently Damon founded Five Foota Music Group, LLC to indulge his passion for songwriting and arranging. After devoting much of his time to contributing to the projects of various other artists and many requests, Damon has finally slowed down to complete his long awaited solo CD soon to be released by Five Foota Music Group.
