I've been writing raps since 1984 early 85. Started making beats and producing my own songs in 1998 after being produced by my brother for so many years. I always wanted to contribute more to the music then just being a rapper. I've spent countless hours studying music at the library during my teen years, while all my friends were hanging out at the mall and social places.
We use to sling cassettes back in the day. Complete with album cover and liner notes. We had limited resources at the time but we always put in work like that. The beats were all done with a boss Dr-5. The artwork was all crude and done by on location photo ops, scissors, glue and Kinko's (copy center) where we spent so much time.
