Living in one of the most racist states in the United States, Dev B’s dreams of being heard seemed far from even close. With him growing up in poverty-filled neighborhoods outlets of success were scarce. Youth being engulfed by street life was almost automatic where he stayed. With that being said, trouble was one of his best friends until one day he said he’d had enough. He turned to music. At age fourteen he began making beats to get away from his troubling lifestyle. Knowing nothing about music, he jumped in it head first which could’ve turned the less determined away. But in his unrelenting quest for knowledge about the past-time turned passion, he began to get better at what he was doing. Word around school as well as around the 419 area spread about the young producer. Working with numerous local acts Dev B built a name for himself but he is now looking to take his craft to the next level. Now in college and being one of the most culminating producers in Toledo, the nineteen year-old has been on a constant grind toward success.
