Started writing poetry at an early age, Adrien Thomas was no stranger to the art of expression. Due to family and social ordeals, Adrien was therapeutically recommended that he continue with poetry as a chosen means of self expression. After 2 years of writing, he was asked for rights to publish one of his poems. Labeled as a triumph over his own ordeals the North American Poetry Association honored one of his poems. Listed under the category ‘street poetry’, ‘Sitting in a Jail Cell’, created notable topics concerning of life on the streets for the aboriginals of America. Wasn’t until latter on his life, his desired of writing took a dramatic turn. Often challenging his goals, he decided to take his poetry and target the youth of the inner city streets in the form of Hip Hop.
