Born in Havana Cuba, Gus Caveda has been writing and producing music in all kinds of different genres for over 25 years. He currently lives in Miami Florida where he produces music for TV and Film projects.
In 1986 together with 3 other local musicians, Gus helped establish the freestyle music group called "Erotic Exotic". The band was signed in 1987 to Atlantic Records and released several successful dance singles. By 1991 Gus toured with Epic recording Artists Nuclear Valdez, but after about a year he grew tired of life on the road and aimed his sites on writing for other Artists. Gus has produced several independent Artists ranging in styles from Rock to Christian country music.
In recent years Gus has been writing and producing music for film and Television. He has had songs placed on the CW Network, WB Kids as well as on the Canadian tv show “Crashed Ice”.
Gus has been a member of BMI since 1985 and has had songs published by EMI Screen Gems as well as several independent publishing companies.
