Where did the name come from?
When I was a few years old I heard Manfred Mann's song Ha Ha Said the Clown and misheard the title! The strange instrumentation and sound effects evoked a surreal world populated with animated cars.
For years I have had recurring dreams hearing amazing records that I had only been able to describe in visual terms, like glass, or prisms..simple pop music full of unexpected chords and strange melodies, like Wire's "Outdoor Miner" only more so! I often woke up with this dream and was disappointed when I could not find the record I had just heard..I have been trying to achieve that kind of music ever since. To a great extent I have done this already. When learning to play guitar I followed the sounds that made me tingle the most, find new chords.... hopefully you will get that feeling when you listen to my music.
