I was born in Bakersfield, Ca to a logger and housewife. I have 8 other bros. and sisters. Two of them live in Nashville, Tn. with thier families. The rest of us are on the west coast. I've been playing music for over thirty years. The first song I ever played was "Heart of Gold" by one of my alltime favorite singer/songwriters, Neil Young. Of course I never really understood the concept of the songwriter till I heard that Willie Nelson wrote "Crazy" as sung by patsy Cline. This changed music for me forever.
