What's it all worth?

...But what's it all worth? can't take it with u under this earth... Nas I'm on my pessimism shit again. It's not worth it. i was right to stop rap. it's not worth the blood sweat and tears i gave it. or the pain and heartache it caused me. Is neuro worth it. u slave and sacrifice and at the end u're no different from the absconders That's why sometimes i favour the pessimistic world view. that there's pain is undeniable. there's suffering. in history, if it happened before it can happen again. u cant stop it. only thing u can do is avoid how it can affect u. twitter@Nfeeltraita
Not yet Uhuru

follow @Nfeeltraita No,it's not just OK. Just cause u see me smile don't mean it's all good. U must want me to lie to u. Fronting like there's no pain. Being punctual, being on time, being rational and sane. kinda why I hate Hollywood and love the streets. STreets is realer. streets know whats up. streets show love. streets know it's not yet Uhuru. They know the war isn't over. aerosmith jaded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbexOeoH5hg
Rass Kass and the conscious rapper....
Sep 18, 2013
Follow @Nfeeltraita So i'm listening to Rass Kass's mixtape (I think it's the Revenge of the Spit) and the track "TV guide " comes on and i'm hit by a barrage of complex metaphors and fast paced rhymes in the usual rass kass pattern. It stands out because on most of the mixtape rass tried to conform to the normal thug stereotype ,gangbanging, partying. it was a reminder to the skill level that rass kass possesss. He came to the game with the seminal classic "soul on ice" and has been known to deliver such intense thought provoking gems like "nature of the threat" and "interview with a vampire". however , on his sophomore album "rassassassination" he came through with the regular west coast gang banging sound. That just leads to me to wondering about not just rass but the "conscious" rapper in general. A lot of rappers like Talib, common, mos def, etc who get popular with a certain conscious style do not want to be pigeon holed and often make either a conscious or subconscious effort to be seen to be "down " or offer up street topics. There are 2 sides to the story though. Maybe it's the fans or the listening audience who puts people in boxes like conscious, gangsta, backpacker etc. maybe we're all fundamentally just human beings. I've always believed people are too complex to be fit into categories or stereotypes. That 's why I don't be messing with things like Temperaments or astrological descriptions of people. But then on the other hand, why do we need to bother about what people think about us that we have to make I conscious effort to let people know " o I do conscious tracks but I also like to party and hump chicks" or "o I may do positive stuff but I will lay ur ass flat on the streets if u cross me the wrong way" . I wonder.. Rass kass TV guide http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6qIwCGoj3A

follow @nfeeltraita It's about songs. Jay D said " I write the songs that the songs sing" in "money aint a thang" So in all the artistes I listen to , albums and mixtapes are cool, but it's really about the individual songs. A great song can change it all for you. So I got a favourite song for nearly every artiste out there

follow @nfeeltraita inspired by the Watch the throne joint " made in America". Driving through these streets of Lasgidi, thinking bout all the ish I've been through and survived. I made it in Lasgidi. made it. didn't really thrive, but I survived, and my friend, that's more than enough. thankful. blessed.
