Astro15 (Rui Pereira), age 20 was born in Toronto, Ontario on January 2nd, 1990 into a Portuguese family. His mother, father and two older brothers were born in Portugal. Although born in Canada, Astro15 spent the majority of his childhood living in Portugal, which influenced him greatly. In Portugal, he learned to make the type of music that he does. At the beginning of his adolescence his family decided to return to Canada, and doing so, Astro15 brought over the things he had learned. He believes that it’s good to bring that here and do it in a slightly different style than most Artists.
