Hailing from Baytown, TX. I am the original Wizz. Known around TX as the hit maker. I been making music for over 15 years. I have experience in every music form. I can easily create new hit songs from your ideas.
Why this name?
I was given the name Wizz for my smarts. I have a BS in Computer Science and I'm working on my master. I was always at the head of my high school class, and went to school on a full scholarship. My intelligence is reflected in my beats. By utilizing state of the art equipment, the latest software, and even creating some software of my own I am able to whip up some of the most unique beats in the industry. All beats are watermarked, with the infamous "Wizz...Wizz...Wizz..." right before the beat drops.
Do you play live?
I have, in my music career, had the opportunity to perform in an acapella group, called Special Harmony, live at many venues; including, college auditoriums at Washington state, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Atlanta, and Houston. Also went on tour as bass vocalist AND Songwriter in a group named "Elite". We opened up and closed for Luther Vandross, I operate a scheduled based high-end studio and work with various local artist on creating the next hit song.
Equipment used:
I am currently utilizing a variety of equipment to develop my sound--. This includes a Motif 8 and a MPC 2000XL as my bread and butter. I have a few sound modules and some other outboard gear .
