My band are The Reverence (www.myspace.com/thereverenceband). I also play guitar for Luke Jones (www.myspace.com/lukejones) and Lucy Hill (www.myspace.com/lucyclhill). When I'm not doing any of these things I make music in my front room and record it under the name Rough Citizen. I've been recording intstrumental tracks on various, quite rubbish, laptops and using dodgy software for years but only recently have decided to record some proper songs. I don't have a drum kit, my bass cost me £30, I have a cheapo mic that is not meant for recording and I use Adobe Audition, which frequently decides to go mental and delete everything when it feels like it. But I've learnt how to cope with all these things and have calculated that I should have enough money to buy some amazing recording equipment by the time I'm 97 years old. My first bunch of proper demos are on The Room Works EP (all tracks on this page). Please take a listen and let me know what you think. Hopefully soon I will be playing some acoustic gigs (I'm just waiting for a wave of confidence to come my way). Thanks for checking in.
